Just wanted to write to say that both Natalia and I were extremely extremely happy with the level of professionalism and service we received on the Surf and Yoga package we booked with CR Surf Adventures. The accommodations were AMAZING!!...both in Tamarindo and Nosara. The surf instructors were soo nice and patient and kept encouraging us no matter how much we struggled at times! All 4 of them are top notch...Luis, Roberto, Cesar, and Stephen. Cesar was our driver from Tamarindo to Nosara and even took us to the grocery store to pick up snacks and drove us to some local restaurants in Nosara...the whole experience was wonderful! Also, not to forget the yoga instructors which were also very good and challenged all different skill levels...we were especially impressed with the outdoor Yoga Institute in Nosara..it was sooo beautiful and peaceful!!
I will definitely recommend your company to all my friends who are planning a similar trip. I have also posted pics on my facebook profile which has the company web site so hopefully you will get some referrals.

We just wanted to thank you guys for providing our group with another great trip to Costa Rica. We have been going to Costa Rica for many years and have always gone to different spots, for waves and fun, however we have use Costa Rica Surf Adventures for back to back trips now. Doug and I talked about what a great time that we had in 2009 with my son Stuart and Chino on our first trip with your company, and we worried that it would be like trying to catch lighting in a bottle to match the 2009 trip. But it comes as no big surprise that Costa Rica Surf Adventures, steps up to the challenge and delivers another great trip, for everyone in our group. We can not wait to make a return trip, and will be booking with you guys again. Stuart is still in high school and that limits our trips to his holiday breaks, but Doug and his family are already to visit again. Hands down, this trip far exceeded any expectations we had. The surf lessons were one-on-one and loaded with constructive feedback and encouragement from the instructors. All of our activities were planned and organized so that we could make the most of our days. Chino, Cesar, Steven and Luis did everything to ensure we had an awesome time, felt safe and comfortable, both in the water and around town. They are a solid team of instructors and an asset to CRSA. I would like to compliment you guys for making Michele and I surf vacation a wonderful experience. We will never forget the great time we had at your surf camp. We have vacationed all over the world for many years and this vacation has to be one of the top vacations we have ever had. This vacation made our 25th wedding anniversary very very special to us.
I would like to give a special thanks to Cesar for the extra effort that he spent with Michele. I still can’t believe he had her standing up riding a wave on the first day in the water. I was so stoked over that, amazing!! It is etch in my memory forever. He took very good care of us. Cesar spent extra time with Michele on the ATV to ensure she had a good time. Trust me that was not easy feat to accomplish. Our whole family owns and ride dirt bikes and ATVs for many years. We could not get her to even touch one, but to ride one was out of the question. Cesar is an asset to your company.
I would also like to compliment Nester on the horseback riding adventure. Michele and I really enjoyed that! That was the best horseback riding adventure we had out side the USA. Amazing ride to the hill side cliffs and on the beach during the sun set. Nice long ride. The horses were fun to ride not a bunch of dead beat follow the leader horses. Please let Nester know that we had a great time and would do again for sure.
We really enjoy our stay in Nosara in the condo, very nice. Your staff there were very good. The grounds were well kept nice the pool was always clean. Daniel was great, really nice guy. He showed us the empty condos for sale. We are interested in one of them. Can you send us detail information on the end unit on the lower level ? Daniel told us some information but he did not have detail information. Thanks
I would like to thank Roberto (Chino) for making sure we were taken care of. Well I’m sure we will be back for another surf adventure but this next time we will include our kids.

I returned home from Tamarindo yesterday (only after much persuasion by my family), and I can't even begin to express what a fantastic vacation I had. Traveling solo as a female in a foreign country can be a daunting idea, but I felt nothing but safe and relaxed with your group's coordinating efforts. Every instructor (Roberto, Luis, Kevin, and Cesar) were friendly, attentive and incredibly educational. They care about the students and truly want you to learn. I was never left unattended or uncared for in the water, and I already feel like a stronger surfer. Our daily activities were timely, organized and fun. If there was ever a question as what to do in town or where to go, the guys were always helpful in giving advice. As a participant in the yoga package as well, I loved the instructor and enjoyed experiencing the difference in practice as compared to home. Though I've only seen one small portion of Costa Rica, the country's beauty and culture have left quite an impression on me. I thank you and your crew for making such a memorable experience, and I hope to return to CR again in the near future.

Gary, the Nosara house was well equipped and beautifully maintained both inside and out. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Additionally, we stayed at the Diria in Tamarindo. It was an easy walk for the surfers to go to the river mouth and the others to explore the town. It’s location and access to numerous surf spots made it an excellent choice.
Bob, your assistance and patience in helping to plan our trip was invaluable! Your guidance and personal attention sets CR Surf Adventures apart from the rest!

Just wanted to send you a note about our trip last week....it was great. The CR Surf Adventures crew in Tamarindo was excellent - very good instructors, and great people in general. Both Peter and I improved at a pace in-line with our highest expectations (and we typically think we will be able to do more than is realistic!), and we had a lot of fun doing it.
I'm not sure how often you get feedback on your team, but I wanted to share ours with you. Consider this a 10 out of 10 review from us. Chino/Roberto was great at pacing us at the right speed - picking the right breaks and boards for us as the conditions and our abilities changed; Johny and Ceasar (who worked with us in the water the most) were both very good helping us progress as quickly as we were able to. ...special mention to Ceasar, who took us to Nosara, helped me get my board to Nosara (after Delta failed to get it on the plane with us to Costa Rica!) and always made sure we were set up in terms of where to eat, non-surfing activities, etc.
Thanks, and maybe we'll end up down there again sometime in the future...

I wanted to take a moment to tell you that the experience that I had on this vacation was the best vacation of my life. The country, the surf, the people, the food, and most importantly the staff. Chino, Ceasar, and Luis were fantastic. The care, concern and attention they provided to me and Anissa was unbelievable. I can't say enough good things about them and I am telling all my friends not only about Costa Rica but about CRSurfadventures. I didn't look at these guys as employees of CRsurf but as Amigos. I hope to be planning another trip in December of this year because my experience was so fantastic. I am including a picture of all of us that we took one day. I am soo happy that I picked your company for this experience since I got to see first hand at the other local companies that were providing lessons which looked so impersonal as to what we had. We had an incredible trip! Chino, Cesar and Luis were fabulous surf instructors. They are also great guys, and it was a lot of fun hanging out with them on land. I would have liked to stay in Costa Rica for at least another month to get better at surfing! The first two days were spent adjusting to being in the ocean and under the ocean when turtle rolling. Once I got more comfortable with salt water up my nose, it was a super fun experience. We surfed with a great couple from Chicago. Unfortunately, we didn't get their email addresses. Their names are Rick Sterns and Peron. If you happen to have contact info for them, I'd love to connect again. We were supposed to snorkel on the last morning, but it didn't work out, so we didn't have a chance to say goodbye. The rest of the trip details were amazing and I think Chris and I will try to save up to go back. I'll do a better write up of the trip if you'd like. Just let me know what details you'd like me to comment on.

Hi Bob & Gary. I just wanted to touch base with both of you about our trip to Costa Rica. We had a wonderful time! Both Roberto & Luis are great guides. They worked very hard to make sure everyone was happy, including Anne & I (the birders). We were very satisfied with their recommendations for both activities & places to eat. They are both really good guys & we had a lot of fun traveling with them.
The house in Nosara was beautiful & perfect for our needs. Thank you for letting us use the laptop. It helped being able to go online for additional bird information. There were plenty of birds in the area to keep us busy. Joe was very interesting to talk to and knew a lot about the Natural History of the area.
In Tamarindo, Roberto & Luis helped us set up a boat trip up the estuary. Our guide was very good & we did get to see some new birds. Again, Roberto & Luis were a lot of help.
I would recommend CRSurfAdventures to anyone as I know the surfers had a great time as well.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I have been in transit to my new job and am now in Vanuatu.
My trip to Costa Rica was amazing!!! It was everything I could have hoped for and more. What really made the trip special was Chino and Nidia, they are such warm, friendly, happy honest people. I had so much fun surfing, getting sunburnt, mixing with the locals, eating food and chilling at my resort. I was totally exhausted each day after surfing in the sun and that was exactly what I wanted, i love that feeling when you know you have made the most of your day!!!
The day we went out on boat was great, I felt really safe and secure with Chino, Luis and Johnny all there sharing their local knowledge.
I certainly will recommend you guys to my friends and I hope to get back to Costa Rica with some more time to spend there and I can guarantee I will be contacting Chino and the crew.

I am sad to say that I am leaving tomorrow. I had a great time; it was just what I needed. Roberto, Jonathan and Luis were all very nice and I really enjoyed surfing with them. Poor Jonathan was stuck with me most of the time, teaching me how to surf. I did also get to torture Luis and Roberto with my novice surfing skills. I'm glad I got to surf with all three of them because I learned something different from each of them. They were all so patient with me (especially Jonathan) but they also knew when to push me (which I needed). I can't say enough good things about them. They were all great to me and Roberto took great care to make sure I was taken care of.
Everyone at Pasatiempo were wonderful. I spoke to Roberto a little bit today and told him how much I enjoyed my time with them. I don't think I thanked him so could you please pass this on to him?
I'm already thinking about my next surf trip. We'll see how fast I can save up for it.

Just wanted to let you know that I am had the best time I have ever had! Your staff is absolutely, fantastic, professional, polite and very helpful with any of my needs. The way your staff maintains your equipment sure says a lot about you and your company. It makes a person feel comfortable knowing that everything is in top notch condition and maintained. This is my first time out of the country and I couldn't have made a better choice than to come to Costa Rica and pick your company and have you guys show me around. I have thought what I would do different next time and there isn't anything that comes to mind other than stay longer like maybe forever! I would be more than happy to right a review for you guys if you would let me.

Sorry to be getting back to you so late. I am in the last month of my graduating year of my BA and it has been crazy busy since I returned home. I will probably write a longer letter when I have more time but I had an absolutely wonderful time, it was all I expected and more. Roberto and Luis were great and I met some wonderful people- the hotel was great, the weather amazing, the country beautiful , the airport more organized than Dallas, the food was great - I ate so well and even last a few pounds. I am hoping to go again next year. Thank you for all your assistance.

Just wanted to send you a note about our trip last week....it was great. The CR Surf Adventures crew in Tamarindo was excellent - very good instructors, and great people in general. Both Peter and I improved at a pace in-line with our highest expectations (and we typically think we will be able to do more than is realistic!), and we had a lot of fun doing it.
I wanted to take a moment to tell you that the experience that I had on this vacation was the best vacation of my life. The country, the surf, the people, the food, and most importantly the staff. Chino, Ceasar, and Luis were fantastic. The care, concern and attention they provided to me and Anissa was unbelievable. I can't say enough good things about them and I am telling all my friends not only about Costa Rica but about CRSurfadventures. I didn't look at these guys as employees of CRsurf but as Amigos. I hope to be planning another trip in December of this year because my experience was so fantastic. I am including a picture of all of us that we took one day. I am soo happy that I picked your company for this experience since I got to see first hand at the other local companies that were providing lessons which looked so impersonal as to what we had.
